The Romanian Civil Aviation Authority (RCAA) and the University Politehnica of Bucharest, Faculty of Aerospace Engineering (UPB-FAE) signed a protocol on 13 December 2008, with the duration of one year, which extends automatically if the agreement is not broken by one party. The object of the contract is the placement and the use of the ATC simulator owned by RCAA in the Air Navigation Laboratory of UPB-FAE. The UPB-FAE teaching staff will operate the simulator only for educational purposes, with their Air Navigation students, and for research purposes. The ownership of the simulator stays with RCAA.
